Born in the summer of 2022, LIKKA aims to create the perfect balance of style, comfort, and durability in wardrobes. They recently completed the interactive project LIKKA ICE CREAM PERSONALITY QUIZ, achieving over 200,000 responses. Let’s take a look at how they did it!
Why LIKKA Chose OOOPEN Lab for Promotion?
The idea for LIKKA’s Ice Cream Personality Quiz Project was brought to life by our game designer, Kallista Law, who recognised the potential of fun personality quizzes to help players discover more about themselves. Our team at LIKKA believed that this would empower individuals to embrace their true and unique personalities with confidence. Furthermore, the project aligns with LIKKA’s slogan of the year – Be your own muse.
Choosing OOOPEN Lab for promotion was straightforward, as our team at LIKKA had previously enjoyed the ‘What Cake R U?’ quiz. After further researching the software, we found it easy to navigate and create the game without requiring coding knowledge.
Determining the Theme: Ice Cream Flavors and Personalities
We noticed a trend of cute, storyline-based personality quizzes and decided on an ice cream flavour theme for our quiz. We associated five personality types with specific ice cream flavours and linked each flavour to a particular clothing aesthetic.
By highlighting how different personality types tend to have their own unique style and outlook on life, we predicted the styles, interests, lucky charms, representative songs, and compatibility with other personality types (or flavours). We then curated recommended LIKKA pieces for each personality type, hoping to help individuals feel more confident wearing something that suits their vibe.
Target Audience Insights and Marketing Strategies
Our target audience was identified as females aged 18-35 after analysing and reviewing LIKKA’s local customer base and potential reach. We promoted the quiz primarily through social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Lemon8, as well as through word of mouth, with players sharing the quiz with their friends and families.
Results and Insights: The Impact of Our Ice Cream Quiz
The Ice Cream Personality Quiz went viral for a few weeks, attracting over 200,000 players in the first month alone. The objectives were successfully met, as the quiz was designed to be part of LIKKA’s campaign to introduce more people to our brand through authentic and relatable interactions. It also encouraged users to browse and experience the quality and care that goes into our pieces.
An interesting and unexpected outcome was the quiz’s popularity outside our local demographic, with significant interest from our Indonesian friends. We are thrilled and grateful that so many people found our quiz engaging and fun.
Feedback on OOOPEN Lab: Usability and Recommendations
Overall, building our quiz through OOOPEN Lab was a pleasant experience due to its user-friendly interface. One suggestion we have is to make English available, as the current limitation to Traditional Chinese restricts wider reach and usability.
